Nunnelly was awarded the SAPD S. Flores Substation new 26,900-square-foot substation at 8811 South Flores Street. Designed to enhance response times and relieve the overextended South Substation, the facility will house Patrol, the San Antonio Fear Free Environment initiative, the Crisis Response Team, community programs, and a dedicated public space. Built on an 18-acre site that allows for future growth, the substation will also support the addition of 28 sworn supervisory personnel and 7 civilian staff, ensuring improved services and stronger connections with the community.
